Sensitization: Center for Counter Fraud Awareness (CCFA), Visits Junior Secondary School, Tudun Wada, Abuja to Sensitize Students on Corruption, Human Trafficking, e.t.c.

As part of our objectives on promoting awareness on fraud and other related matters, the Center
for Counter Fraud Awareness (CCFA) on Tuesday 29th, January 2019, visited Junior Secondary
School, Tudun Wada, Abuja to sensitize students on corruption, human trafficking, drug abuse
and other related matters.

The program which started at about 1:20 pm had in attendance the Principal, Mrs Hauwa
Modibo, the Vice Principal Academics, Mr Madaki Alhamdu the Computer Instructor and the Advocacy Team of CCFA headed by Miss Lynda Nzenwa.

The session began with Jonah Uket who introduced CCFA as a non-profit
organization to the students and handed over to the presenter of the day, David Jumbo. They were educated on crime, its types and categories; punishment meted out on criminals, law enforcement agencies, and effects of criminal acts on them as individuals and the
society.

The interactive session brought to their attention that involving in heinous acts of cultism, examination
malpractice, vandalism, online dating fraud, burglary, drug abuse/trafficking, rape, and others,
were illegal and these acts had grievous consequences like the destruction of families,
serving jail terms or even death.

At the end of the session at 2.00pm, questions were asked by students and teachers followed by a photo and interview session.
