16 kidnappers, rapists and cattle rustlers were arrested by the Police in Taraba State.
According to the state police commissioner, Alkasim Sanusi, they were arrested at different locations in the state. He also revealed that 50 cows rustled in some villages in Lau local government area of the state were recovered.
The arrest followed intensive investigation into the activities of the kidnapping and cattle rustling gang that terrorized the state which led to their arrests.
The Police Commissioner assured the citizens of the state of his command’s determination to flush out criminal elements, adding that those arrested would be charged to court after investigation.
