The Center for Fiscal Transparency and Public Integrity (CeFTPI) was honored to contribute to the Regional Partnership for Democracy convened on November 17th, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The forum brought together key stakeholders to advance democratic governance, regional cooperation, and accountability frameworks.
Our contributions focused on strengthening institutional accountability through the presentation of our Transparency and Integrity Index (TII), Electoral Financing Portal, and other data-driven tools designed to prevent corruption, enhance transparency, and promote evidence-based decision-making. These tools demonstrate how technology, open data, and measurable standards can be leveraged to improve public sector performance and reinforce democratic institutions.
The engagement underscored the critical link between integrity and democracy, emphasizing that sustainable democratic systems are built on transparent institutions, accountable leadership, and informed citizen participation. Strengthening democracy begins with public sector integrity, and the Center remains committed to supporting reforms that uphold these principles across the region.
