According to the INEC’s schedule of activities for the 2023 general elections, campaigns by political parties would officially commence on the 28th of this month.
Traditionally, the campaign season is characterized with heavy spending by political parties and aspirants, howbeit, not much is known about the sources of these funds and how they are expended as required by law.
