Road to 2023: Exploring Voters Apathy

In 2015, of the over 68 million registered voters, only 31,746,490, representing about 47.08 percent participated in the election.
Also, in 2019 general election, out of the over 82 million registered voters, only 28,614,190, representing 34.75 percent of eligible voters participated in the election.
The trajectory has shown a downward decline in citizens’ participation in the nation’s electioneering processes over the years.
