The Center for Fiscal Transparency and Public Integrity (CeFTPI) joined public sector stakeholders at the Code of Conduct Bureau’s presentation on the Code of Ethics in the Public Service, held in collaboration with the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR).
The event highlighted the importance of ethics, accountability, and integrity as foundational pillars of effective governance and public service excellence.
During the engagement, the Executive Director, Dr. Umar Yakubu, shared insights on the critical role of personal integrity in shaping public service outcomes. He emphasized that beyond policies and regulations, the character and ethical commitment of public servants remain central to building trust and delivering value to citizens.
The Center applauds ongoing efforts to institutionalize ethical standards across the public sector and remains committed to supporting frameworks that strengthen governance, transparency, and institutional performance in Nigeria.
